Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the TimberPier Sioux Decks website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or services.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our website following any changes means you accept those changes.

Services Description

TimberPier Sioux Decks provides deck construction, repair, and maintenance services in Sioux City, IA and surrounding areas. All services are subject to availability and our ability to perform the work safely and in compliance with local building codes.

We provide estimates and quotes in good faith based on the information available at the time. Final pricing may vary if conditions change or additional work is required. We will communicate any changes to you before proceeding with additional work.

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be outlined in your project contract or estimate. We typically require a deposit before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon completion. We accept various payment methods including cash, check, and major credit cards.

If you fail to make payment according to the agreed terms, we reserve the right to suspend work until payment is received. Late payments may be subject to additional fees as outlined in your contract.

Scheduling and Cancellations

We will work with you to schedule your project at a mutually convenient time. However, scheduling is subject to weather conditions, material availability, and other factors beyond our control. We will notify you promptly if we need to reschedule.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your project, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation fees may apply depending on when you notify us and whether materials have already been ordered for your project.

Warranties and Guarantees

We stand behind our work and offer warranties on our craftsmanship as outlined in your project contract. Material warranties are provided by the manufacturer and vary by product. We will help you understand what warranties apply to your specific project.

Our warranty does not cover damage caused by improper maintenance, natural disasters, normal wear and tear, or modifications made by others. To maintain your warranty, you must follow the maintenance guidelines we provide.

Limitation of Liability

We carry appropriate insurance for our business operations. However, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for our services. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have proper property insurance and that your project complies with homeowner association rules, local ordinances, and building codes. We will help guide you through these requirements, but ultimate responsibility rests with you as the property owner.

Property Access and Conditions

By hiring us, you grant us access to your property to perform the agreed-upon work. You are responsible for ensuring that the work area is accessible and that any pets or obstacles are secured or removed before we arrive.

If we discover unexpected conditions during the project such as structural issues, code violations, or hazardous materials, we will stop work and discuss the situation with you before proceeding. Additional charges may apply for addressing these conditions.
